Presiding Judge Chen Huizhen Smoothly Finished the Lecturing Task of the "Go-West Lecturing Group of the Supreme People's Court"
Ms Chen Huizhen, Presiding Judge of the No.2 IP Tribunal of our court, was selected, by Shanghai High People’s Court, into the "Go-West Lecturing Group of the Supreme People's Court" program as a member of the No.2 Team to give lectures in Qinghai and Tibet. It is a measure of great significance by the Supreme People's Court to organize a tour program of a lecturing group to enhance its intellectual support for the courts in the regions of the ethnic minorities in West China, and promote the building of courts to a higher standardized, specialized and professional level in relevant regions. This has been the 7th tour lecturing program organized by the Supreme People's court, preceded by 6 earlier ones.
Through earnest lesson preparation and by composing class outline, Presiding Judge Chen Huizhen, by getting over altitude sickness, gave trial mentoring lectures titled "Practical Approach to Civil Trials——Inspirations and Methods" to the Level-3 courts throughout the two provinces (region) in West China. Apart from analyzing the logical structure of trials and the process of case identification, she focused on the three parts of "Methods of Fact-finding——Judging Evidence", "Methods of Law Application——Legal Interpretation", and "Methods of Expressing Conclusions——Making Judgments", conducted lecturing and communication with the judges in West China by making combination of her own practical experiences accumulated for many years and the relevant regulations and legal principles, which thus achieved a quite good result.
