Shortly after the Spring Festival, with the full collaboration of the Office and Bailiff Detachment, the Execution Bureau of Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court (Intellectual Property Court, Railway Transportation Intermediate Court) successfully preserved all evidences for a case concerning the infringement upon copyright of computer software at Wuhe County of Anhui Province. This is also the first case in which Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court (Intellectual Property Court, Railway Transportation Intermediate Court) took full advantage of the professional skills of the court's technicians to preserve the evidences on computer software. Preserving evidences on computer software requires expertise and often needs to engage experts to search, compare, copy and obtain evidence from the target software among quite a number of computer programs. However as it was during the Spring Festival holiday, engaging experts cost time and would delay the trial, thus increasing the litigation costs of the parties concerned. Therefore, the Execution Bureau tried to figure out ways from within the court and then contacted the Office for technical assistance. At the request of the Execution Bureau, the Office sent technical experts in computer software to the evidence preservation site, gave full play to their expertise in computer, and provided technical guarantee to the evidence preservation. On the same day after receiving the application, the Execution Bureau worked out an execution plan, and arrived at the site the next day. During the whole process, the Bailiff Detachment drove over ten hours to cover nearly a thousand miles for the preservation, and successfully guaranteed the safety of the execution officers on site. Thanks to close cooperation among the three departments, it only cost two days for preserving the target software for obtaining evidence needed for the case.
