On the afternoon of December 11, Xu Dongxu, Consul of the Consulate-General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai (President of Korean Cultural Service in Shanghai), visited Shanghai Intellectual Property Court for exchange. Li Shulan, Vice President of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, and Qian Guangwen, Head of No.2 Division of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, received the guests. Vice President Li Shulan extended welcome to Consul Xu Dongxu and briefed the court’s basic situation and its measures for strict, equal and efficient protection of intellectual property rights. She also introduced Korean-related cases, punitive damages measures, pre-trial mediation & court mediation system, and technical investigator system, etc. concerned by the guests, and expressed her hope to strengthen mutual exchanges and to learn from the useful experience of Korea in judicial protection of intellectual property rights. Consul Xu Dongxu expressed gratitude for the warm reception and affirmed the fair and efficient administration of justice of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court and the results achieved since its establishment. He hoped that China and Korea will strengthen exchanges to promote the improvement of intellectual property protection jointly.
