——Study on theperfection of legalregulation of business data related unfair competition

On the afternoon of March 1, 2022, Shanghai Intellectual Property Court held the sixth lecture of Shanghai IP Court Academy. Mr. Zhang Huaiyin, Associate Professor of Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property of Tongji University and Deputy Director of the Research Office of Shanghai No. 3 Intermediate People's Court (temporary post duringan exchange), gave a lecture titled Study on Perfection of Legal Regulation of Business Data Related Unfair Competition at invitation. Associate Professor Zhang Huaiyin expounded in simple terms on business data related legal issues from five aspects: data and its economic characteristics and types, the current situation of regulation of business data related unfair competition, the legal protection and positioning of business data, the basic issues related to data competition, and the perfection of legal regulation of business related data unfair competition. Ms. Li Shulan, Vice President of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court attended and Chen Huizhen, a full-time member of the Judicial Committee of Shanghai No. 3 Intermediate People’s Court, presided over the lecture. All police officers of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court and some police officers of Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court listened to the lecture on the spot, while police officers of intellectual property tribunals of courts of Pudong New Area, Xuhui District, Yangpu District, and Putuo District attended the lecture via video link.
