On the afternoon of March 25^th, an open trial was held at Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court, with Shanghai Tairui Property Development Company, the Plaintiff, vs. Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the Defendant, in its refusal to accept the Defendant's decision of rejecting its application for administrative reconsideration. A verdict was made on the site by the court to dismiss the Plaintiff's appeal for withdrawal of the Defendant's decision. This was the first case put on trial by Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court since its establishment. President Wu Xielin worked as the Chief Judge and constituted a collegiate panel with Mr. Qu Furong, Vice President, and Mr. Zhang Wenzhong, Presiding Judge of the Administrative Tribunal. Liu Ping, Associate Director of the Legislative Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, appeared on court as the Representative of the Defendant. The trial was broadcast live via the Legal Channel of Shanghai TV Station, the mobile APP of Chinese Court TV, and www.xinmin.cn. A press conference was held after the trial introducing details of the trial and the work of Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court since its establishment. Nearly 20 central and local media made centralized interviews and conducted news coverage.
