On the afternoon of January 22, 2016, Shanghai Intellectual Property Court (“the Court”) specially invited intellectual property experts to hold a seminar. President Wu Xielin and Vice President Li Shulan of the Court attended the seminar. Specially-invited experts such as Lv Guoqiang, Wu Handong, Yin Xintian, Xu Chao, Tao Xinliang, Zhang Naigen and Wang Qian also attended the seminar. At the seminar, Vice President Li Shulan introduced the establishment and development of the Court in all aspects in 2015, and the experts participating in the seminar highly praised all work done by the Court in the past year and put forward advices and suggestions for the reform and development of the Court in the following year. In his speech, President Wu Xielin stated that, Shanghai Intellectual Property Court would seriously study, absorb and digest those advices and suggestions proposed by each expert and would apply the same to the development planning for the following year. Mr. Wu hopes that each expert may continue to pay attention to and support Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, and play a think-tank role for the further development of the Court.
