Vice President Tao Kaiyuan of the Supreme People’s Court Investigates Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Accompanied by President Cui Yadong of Shanghai High People’s Court
On March 17th, Vice President Tao Kaiyuan of the Supreme Judicial Court (SPC) investigated Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, accompanied by Cui Yadong, Secretary of Party Leadership Group and President of Shanghai High People’s Court, Wang Chuang, Deputy Chief Judge of SPC No.3 Civil Tribunal, Mao Ronghua, member of Party Leadership Group and Vice President of Shanghai High People’s Court and the relevant department heads. President Wu Xielin of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court reported related work and Vice President Li Shulan and the relevant department heads participated in the meeting. Vice President Tao Kaiyuan and his delegation visited the tribunals, the litigation service center, the judge office, the cultural display area and the centralized information control center, expressed their sincere greetings to the intellectual property judges, communicated with the technological investigators and held a meeting. Vice President Tao Kaiyuan fully appreciated Shanghai Intellectual Property Court’s achievements in openness, convenience, intelligence, internationalization and other aspects since its establishment, and emphasized to continue to give priority to case handling and law enforcement, focus on the central task, serve the overall situation and launch a number of influential model cases; to strengthen talent cultivation and deepen external exchange and cooperation so as to build Shanghai Intellectual Property Court into an important window for international exchange on judicial protection of intellectual property in China. President Cui Yadong required combining the spirits of sessions of NPC and CPPCC to practically implement the spirits of the speech of Vice President Tao Kaiyuan.
