On the evening of December 12, Judge Chen Huizhen, National Adjudication Expert and full-time member of the judicial committee of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, attended as a special guest a live interview program called “Law-Eye-World” - “Court President Online” launched by Shanghai High People’s Court and East Radio Center jointly, at which she talked with the host and commentators about the history of judicial protection of intellectual property rights in China, and interacted with the audience and netizens. During the one-hour live broadcast, based on her 20 years’ experience in intellectual property trials, the work of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court in the past four years since its establishment and the typical cases she had tried, Judge Chen Huizhen expounded the improvements in China’s legal system, trial system and judicial protection mechanism as well as the intensified protection of intellectual property rights since the reform and opening up, which produced good effect.
