On the morning of April 22, Shanghai Higher People’s Court held a press conference to announce the judicial protection of intellectual property rights of Shanghai courts in 2018. At the press conference, Li Shulan, Vice President of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court (“SIPC”), released Shanghai Intellectual Property Court’s Achievements in IP Protection (2018). This is the fourth consecutive year that SIPC issued an annual judicial white paper since its inception. The white paper, which is written in Chinese and English, presents the concrete achievements of SIPC’s judicial protection of intellectual property rights in 2018.
