Deputies to the NPC and Members of the CPPCC Visited the Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court (SIPC, Railway Transport IntermediateCourt)

On the afternoon of May 8, 32 NPC deputies and 2CPPCC members from four delegations of Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and Guizhou visited the Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court (SIPC, Railway Transport Intermediate Court). Zhang Tianruo, Director of the Liaison Office of the Supreme Court, Chen Meng, member of the Party Group and Vice President of Shanghai Higher People’s Court, and Chen Yajuan, Party Secretary and President of SIPC, led all the members of the team to accompany the visitors, who visited the Litigation Service Center and Shanghai Bankruptcy Court, and listened to the introduction of relevant work. President Chen Yajuan introduced the work of the Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court (SIPC, Railway Transport Intermediate Court) from the following aspects: performing the judicial functions in accordance with the law, further promoting the reform of the judicial system and constantly improving the working mechanism of cross-administrative trials and intellectual property trials. Pan Yunbo, Chief of the No.2 Civil Tribunal of SHPC, introduced the general situation of bankruptcy trials in the Shanghai’s courts from the aspects of making bankruptcy trial more professional and promoting the construction of the market-oriented mechanism for bankruptcy work. Qu Furong, Vice President of Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court, introduced the remote simulation of the creditors’ meeting in bankruptcy cases, and connected on-site with other parts of the country, showing that in the bankruptcy trial, the creditors’ meeting has been more efficient and gone beyond geographical restrictions. During the visit, the NPC deputies and CPPCC members recognized and praised the work of Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court (SIPC, Railway Transport Intermediate Court), saying that their work is very innovative, which reflects a regulated and transparent judiciary and fruitful reform, and people can really feel that. Heads of the office of SHPC, the No.2 Civil Tribunal, Legal Publicity Office and relevant departments of SIPC also accompanied the visitors.
