In order to better respond to the judicial needs of corporate for intellectual property protection, according to the Cooperation Framework Agreement signed between the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court and the Shanghai Pudong New Area Intellectual Property Office, on the afternoon of June 26, Judge Ling Song’s Studio held a special training seminar on the “Prevention and Countermeasures Against Disputes over Service Inventions” for enterprisesat the China (Pudong) Intellectual Property Rights Protection Center. Legal and intellectual property management staff from more than 20 enterprises and institutions including Shanghai Pudong New Area Association for Computer, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Huaqin Communication Technology, and OBiO Technology (Shanghai) attended the seminar. At the meeting, Judge Ling Song interpreted the legal provisions concerning service inventions, analyzed typical cases of service inventions heard by the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, and made targeted suggestions on problems found in the service invention management of companies during trial. After the meeting, Judge Ling Song and Judge Chen Yaoyao answered the questions raised by companies on the spot. This is the first training session given by the Judge Ling Song’s Studio after its establishment. In the future, the Studio will further carry out targeted activities based on its functional positioning, and effectively serve and ensure Shanghai to develop a world-class business environment and build itself into a center of technological innovation with global influence.
